FAI AIRSERVICE AG has carried an unlimited Air Operator Certificate (AOC) for business jets issued by the German Federal Aviation Authority (license no. D-049-EG) as well as a maintenance-license according to JAR 145 (license no. LBA 0062) since they were founded in 1987.
Both licenses are quality seals and prove that flight operation and maintenance meet the high requirements for European Aviation Companies.
FAI currently is operating five Business-Jets, ea. Citation I, Citation II, Citation V, Lear-Jet 35A and a Lear-Jet 55 operating in Executive and Airambulance Charter services, employing a staff of 25.
Besides its headquarter at Nuremberg (Hangar 3) FAI maintains branches at the airports of Munich and Leipzig-Halle. Since 1990 FAI operates from this base two EMS-Helicopters (BO 105 CBS-4 + BK 117 B2) on behalf of the Government of Saxonia and in cooperation with IFA International-Flight-Ambulance e.V..
